Hi! I’m Dan Cox, I’m the Director of DCB Developments. I’ve been here since the inception in 2008, when we – Christian and I – thought about the idea of putting a business together. So it’s been over 10 years now.
What is your role at DCB Developments?
My role is basically to run the business together with Christian, to develop our brand and put us where we want to be in the market.
What’s the best thing about working at DCB?
Best thing about working at DCB is the people. The internal team, our clients, our suppliers, our subcontractors. We’re all a team!
How has working at DCB shaped you?
Working at DCB has really challenged me. It made me step up as a leader, enabled me to provide direction for our brand and our team to get us to where we think we can be within the marketplace, and ensure that what we do is staying true to our core beliefs and our values.
If someone asked why they should use DCB for their restaurant, what would you say?
If someone asked me why they should use DCB for their next restaurant, I would say why not? We’re brilliant at what we do, we love what we do, we’re passionate about it and we’re really inspired to be part of a journey with our business partners and our clients.

If you were stuck on a desert island, what 3 things would you take?
If I was stuck on a desert island the 3 things I would take with me, would be my insulin for my diabetes, my family and close friends and food. I love food!
What secret talent do you have?
My secret talent that nobody really knows about is I can recite lines from movies, verbatim. And I’m often known for throwing a few things out there just randomly!
